Okay, Pink, here we go, by the way, after DE's post, I have a third idea. Actually, fuck the two ideas. This idea is the best.

Since DE wants to write his character's own lines, the solution is simple: Don't give him any fucking lines. Just let him sit back somewhere in the background, maybe wave a little, so that there is the excellence of DE in every panel but you're not disrespecting DE's desires.

Just in case, here are the other two ideas:

Let him speak off-screen, without saying his name but somehow implying that it's DE. That way, legally, it can not be proven that it is DE, and yet he will still be in the comic...just without physically being in the comic. Actually, since you won't be using the sprite, I believe that, legally, you'd be able to bypass the sprite usage rule DE mentioned and say his name anyway, as long as there isn't a single pixel from the sprite.

The other idea was...hold on...I forget it now. Never mind. I'll get back to you.

Since we're all abiding by the new comic artists' rules, which state that we've pretty much granted involuntary consent to use our sprites to all the official artists, the only thing I ask is that I get to either: write the comic, or

Thank you for the nice comments, HOWEVER: Putting "more DE" in it is impossible because DE's not letting me use his sprites. Bitch at him, not me.
