2009-03-23 - Issue 2: Dark Times part 1 pg 1

Jump to Issue: Author Says! Hey it's me Sped again, and here is the first page to SZSC and is the only all text page, so don't worry the next page is going to be normal. And this page will be explained later on if you don't know what's going on. I was going to wait till Friday and upload every Friday but in till I get a few pages out I'll be uploading as soon as they are done. I've already started on the next page and it is half way done, but I'm working on 3 or 4 different things at once...Any way I will get it done as soon as possible and it will be worth the wait. ( Don't worry Zach, it won't take long) But for the next day or so I'll be to busy to draw though, but just for a day or so. Also the first SZSC Prelog should be up some time next week on SA and it should provide the much needed background to the characters, the war, the story, and more. So if you would like to know more on SZSC then you may want to check it out when it's done :P . But in till then please at least wait for the first "real" page, it will explain this page. keep it clean... ~Sped

It's not BAD, but there is some room for improvement. The thing that jumped at me the most is the legs, but maybe it will look better when fully colored. They just seem skinny... even for a Sonic character. There are other, more minor, issues with anatomy of the animal forms and some various other little tweaks could be done to make everything look better. I'd say: spend more time trying to perfect your drawings, work out all the kinks and details. It's not BAD, just not GREAT. Keep trying, I suppose. AJ Fox

So I guess that the next page wont be like that and we will just have to wait and see. Now if the next page is going to be all typing then that would be ignoring.

And yes It is full of OC's of a wide variety and forms a big cast once all the character's are all introduced. And the next page will tell why he was asleep. He won't improve if everything is negative, but that should be a hint for him to go in another direction. I am also weary about the story, but as far as I know he's using all OC's, so this might not really be a big problem depending on how he does his story. Hopefully we will enjoy the comics to come and we will be able to give constructive criticism instead of just bashing/negative feedback. AJ Fox
