EDIT: Do you really think I look at anyone's signature when I'm scrolling through posts? Honestly, I have better things to do. I glance at them every now and then but when I'm reading a series of posts I don't stop and stare at the signatures, I scroll past them.

That was old testament. The Hebrews follow that one. Christians merely study the old testament but don't really follow it.

Why do people think this is a real defense? The Bible itself says, at several moments, in some form or another, that the word of God is eternal, and of course Christians generally believe that The Bible is the word of God. Therefore, EVERYTHING in The Bible, and that INCLUDES the old testament, stands as God's truth. I know that the New Testament is what Christian's focus on, but the Old Testament is just as much a part of your religion as the New Testament, so don't act like it's irrelevant because that's just denial.

I hate Soccer fans. Not ALL Soccer fans, just the hardcore, extremist fans who think the world is out of sync with the space-time continuum if there is even a single person who doesn't like Soccer.

Personally, I don't care for the sport. And that's not because there aren't many points. I hate games that have points this way and that way. Everyone immediately started calling the 51-45 NFC Wild card game between the Packers and Cardinals last year as a "classic" game. I found it boring. I like football, not basketball on grass. I'll take Johnny Unitas's 20-17 overtime win over the Giants in 1958, thank you. I like a good defensive battle.

For me, I think it's the pacing of Soccer I don't like. It's just too slow and not physical enough for my taste. But that's just MY taste. People are entitled to opinions, right? I'm pretty sure. But here's how a conversation with a Soccer extremist is likely to go.

Soccer Extremist: YEAH SOCCER I LOVE IT SO MUCH IT'S SO AWESOME!
Me: It's not really my cup of tea, personally.
SE: Wow, I used to think you were smart. Don't you know it's the most popular sport in the world?
Me: Yes, I did, and I don't see what that's supposed to mean. I don't really care what others think, I just don't like it. And I think that using my taste in sports as a grading scale for my intelligence is maybe going just a bit too far.
SE: You're an idiot. How DARE you speak against Soccer. You ignorant Americans just don't know how to appreciate an indisputably GREAT sport like Soccer.

Yadayadayada etc... as the soccer extremist insists that soccer is a great sport and I shouldn't be allowed to have opinions to the contrary, or else I'm directly impeding on his ability to enjoy the game HIMSELF.

I hate how people always misuse the word "irony". I swear, nobody knows what this fucking word means. I'm constantly hearing it used for things that have NOTHING TO DO WITH IRONY!

The sarcasm part is for people who say "Oh, that's ironic..." and mean it sarcastically, right? Otherwise, I agree... though I'm one of the ones who probably use it incorrectly or at least in the sarcastic sense. <_<; So... I agree based on experience. Oh, the irony. *shot*
